theBPO. is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist for one of its prestigious international client. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is an ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities

  • Primary contact with payroll vendor for HR/Payroll software
  • Maintain and file payroll records
  • Uploading hours to the payroll grid for processing (Match grid with Payroll Detail Report)
  • Investigate and correct system generated reports identifying out of balance payroll and payroll tax records
  • Assist with payment distribution Investigate and correct system generated reports identifying out of balance payroll and payroll tax records
  • Maintain high knowledge on all of the company’s payroll policies and governmental regulations impacting payroll preparation
  • Process periodic payroll for all regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all Federal, State and Provincial laws
  • Help in various ad-hoc projects as directed
  • Respond to and resolve all payroll inquiries and make resultant changes
  • Utilize all internal tools & defined processes to ensure optimal productivity, service excellence and make recommendations for best practices
  • Conduct an annual review of client’s payroll set up and processes to identify deficiencies within existing procedures and/or configuration

Requirements

  • ACCA, ICMA CIMA or bachelor’s degree from a reputable university or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Must be a team player and be able to collaborate on cross-functional projects.
  • Familiarity with third party payroll systems will be preferred.
  • Having prior experience working on ERP will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Managing budgets
  • Management Reporting
  • Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts information
  • Liaising with auditors (internal or external)
  • Preparing financial statements and monthly and annual accounts
  • Knowledge of local and federal tax laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant i.e., ICAP Affiliate
  • Recently Articleship completed
  • Must be a team player and be able to collaborate on cross-functional projects.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
